Shibori Baby Onesies

These little onesies are each hand dyed and unique, and a perfect gift for boys or girls in their first year! Soft, stretchy, preshrunk 100% organic cotton is Shibori dyed by hand with all natural indigo crystal dye in the traditional Japanese fashion. Two sizes are available, 3-6 months for new babies and 12 months for those growing into toddlerhood. Like all our products these onesies are soft, 100% natural fiber with 100% natural indigo dye, no harsh chemicals are used to create the beautiful designs. And because we are parents too, we’ll only offer machine wash & tumble dry products to you and your family. 
 
What is Shibori?
Shibori is the ancient Japanese technique of folding, twisting, bunching, and binding fabric before dyeing it in a vat of indigo. 
 
What is Indigo?
Indigo is a dye made from the pigments of plants found in the Indigofera family. It has been used for thousands of years and across many cultures to achieve a range of beautiful blue hues. Indigo dye is an all natural and organic compound that is safe for baby’s delicate skin. It is also 100% machine washable.
