Make Your Own Natural Watercolors - Floral Greeting Card Workshop

Continuing on our exploration of natural dyeing, we're offering this fun workshop focused on creating your own watercolors from flower petals. Using colorful late-season wildflowers and agents such as lemon juice to intensify their shades, we will make a palette of beautiful, natural tones and each student will apply them to a set of six greeting cards. No painting experience necessary, we will be providing stamps and ink pens to embellish your cards. A guide to creating watercolors from your own garden at home will be provided so students may continue on their exploration of natural colors after learning this technique.
